Tributes from the many who never met the subject, and from those lucky enough to work closely with, and who had their own lives lit up by the experience. By the number of people who want to express just how much they were moved, inspired or otherwise positively affected by the passing of a much loved talent. You can always judge the success of a life by the tributes. There is just something I still cant quite put my finger on that Richard used when writing to bring you back for more. All Richards books take on a different story yet somehow he manages to use a similiar type of lunatic. I also enjoyed Blood Games, Body Rides etc. If you enjoy 'One Rainy Night' you will also enjoy Night Show. I particularly enjoyed it and would rate this among one of my favourites although when you become a Laymon fan it is hard to pin point just 1 favourite. I first started collecting Richards books around the time when this one originally come out. This was the second Richard laymon book I had ever read. ![]() |
